Inside the modest, stainless steel walls of the Platinum Swing Up lies a stainless steel boiler with superb heat retention and durability. With the Rapid Steam Technology, the Swing Up assures easy brewing and steaming, while its innovative backlit touch ring control panel and digital LCD screen make notifications, adjustments, and programming simple. Program the active cup warmer, language, aroma strength, temperature, pre-infusion, coffee dosage (Opti-Dose system), clock settings, and more. Enjoy a quiet and consistent grind each time with the ceramic burr coffee grinder.
With the Pannarello revolving frothing attachment, foaming and steaming milk is easy, even for the novice. The Espresso Plus system gives you complete control over the intensity of your beverage, even while it’s brewing. The Milk Island is an optional unit that is connected to the Swing Up. Simply pour the milk in the jug, turn the steam knob and the machine does the rest, creating creamy frothed and steamed milk for café-style drinks. The Milk Island can be cleaned easily and has a total capacity of .4 liters. The electronic drip tray can be adjusted to accommodate different size cups.
The Swing Up also features a bypass doser for use with pre-ground coffee, and the Aqua Prima water filter system to remove impurities from your water, resulting in fresh, clean tasting coffee every time. The Aqua Prima water filter also reduces the formation of lime scale in the machine, protecting your boiler and brewing components.
