The La Pavoni Europiccola is a manual espresso machine with a classic look that will produce excellent espresso as well as impress your guests.
A beautiful espresso machine built to last
Constructed largely of corrosion-resistant cast brass, the Europiccola is built to last and a pleasure to look at. In addition, its large boiler reduces the effect of lime scale deposits. This means minimum maintenance is required to keep it top working order.
A machine for the coffee purist
The key to successfully using a traditional pump machine like this one is with the barista who operates it. Unlike the various automatic espresso makers, this popular machine from La Pavoni is intended for the true purist who wants to participate in nearly every aspect of producing the cup of espresso short of roasting the coffee beans.
Espresso flavor in your hands
Manual machines are relatively simple to use. You lift the lever to raise a piston inside the group. This allows water under pressure to infuse the ground coffee in the filter holder. You then lower the lever. This causes the piston to force the water through the coffee and into your cup.
The speed at which you move the lever controls the speed at which water passes through the coffee grounds. This means the control over the taste of your espresso is literally in your hands. The Europiccola allows 8 cups of espresso to be made consecutively.
Easy to prepare cappuccino and latte
The Europiccola espresso machine is fitted with a steam jet so you can easily froth milk and enjoy a cappuccino, latte and other hot drinks. The "cappuccino automatic" attachment ensures a perfect cappuccino every time. This device on the opening of a valve automatically sucks milk from its container and brews it warm and perfectly frothed into the cup.
