The Magic Cappuccino espresso and cappuccino machine is named for its ability

switch. It makes an espresso expert out of anyone with the pressurized brew
filter that magically corrects for any type of coffee grind or insufficient
tamping, thus you will always enjoy perfect espresso. Combine espresso with

The Magic Cappuccino features a high performance pump system to insure
excellent crema, easy to use control switches and indicator lights, pressurized
portafilter, espresso pod adapter, removable water tank, durable stainless steel
boiler, drip pan, cup tray and cup warming plate.
Automatic Milk Frothing System
The Magic Cappuccino is one of the few coffee and espresso machines that
features a built-in automatic milk frothing system for making textbook
cappuccinos. Although this machine comes equipped with a milk frothing wand for
heating milk for lattes and café mochas, the automatic milk frothing system
yields perfect foam for cappuccinos. It works by drawing milk out of a container
(like a pint of milk or small pitcher), combines the milk with steam, and then
froths the milk which then is deposited right into your coffee mug. You can also
control the consistency of the foam. You may interchange the steam wand for the
automatic milk frother in seconds!
Simple Controls and Indicator Lights
The Magic Cappuccino’s main power switch, brewing pump switch and steam
switch are rocker type switches of heavy-duty plastic, each with its own
indicator light. Located on the right side of the machine, is the steam control
knob.
Pressurized Portafilter
This heavy duty, stainless steel pressurized filter holder is built to
withstand the Magic Cappuccino’s high brewing pressures necessary to make
superior espresso with thick, rich crème.
Use Your Favorite Espresso Pods
The Magic Cappuccino is the only Saeco traditional model that allows for the
use of espresso pods. Espresso pods are single serving, perfectly proportioned
servings of ground coffee that are encased in a round paper packet. Simply
place an espresso pod in the basket and insert the portafilter into the
machine. When you have finished brewing espresso, remove the pod and discard.
Built in 68-oz. Water Tank
For ease in refilling and cleaning, this 68-oz. water tank is fully
removable.
High Performance Pump System
The secret to a fine espresso with a thick layer of crème is constant pump
pressure. This 15 BAR self-priming pump system has plenty of power to provide
great crème coffee for years to come.
Safe and Durable Boiler
Central to the operation of an espresso machine is the quality of the boiler
and heating element. The Magic Cappuccino boasts a stainless steel, heavy-duty
boiler and heating element. Abundant dry steam from this powerful unit makes
frothing milk a cinch. The boiler regulates the coffee brewing and milk steaming
functions through the use of two separate, highly accurate thermostats. This
boiler also has burnout protection; a thermal fuse to shut down the heating
element should the machine run dry during operation.
Drip Pan, Cup Tray and Cup Warming Plate
Made of heavy duty plastic, both the drip pan and cup tray can removed for
easy cleaning. Espresso is meant to be sipped slowly, so it needs to stay warm.
The Magic Cappuccino cup warming plate keeps those espressos warmer longer.
Cleaning & Maintenance of Components
In order to keep the inside of your machine healthy; it must be periodically
cleaned. Scale buildup from naturally occurring minerals in your water can
build up on sensitive components like the inside of the boiler, which left
unchecked can cause considerable damage to the machine. By descaling your
machine every two-three months, your machine will be trouble-free for years.

Descaling and general cleaning is important even if you have a sophisticated
water filter system, and especially if you use well water. Components such drip
tray and water tank can be hand washed with regular soap and water.
Installation & Accessories
Plug it in and the Magic Cappuccino is ready to go. No fuss, no muss, no
special plumbing for water intake or discharge and no special electrical outlets
are required. With purchase, the Magic Cappuccino comes with one shot and two
shot stainless steel filter baskets, a measuring spoon, and a detailed
instruction manual on the care and operation of your machine.
