SBS - Saeco Brewing System

Saeco's new patented international exclusive: SBS (Saeco Brewing System) is the
avant-garde technology which has changed the world of coffee machines. This
ingenious system allows you to make an infinite variety of coffee beverages from
just one fully automatic machine and at the mere twist of a knob. Whether it is
an intense Italian ristretto (turn the knob to the right) or an American-style
long coffee (turn the knob to the left) SBS satisfies all tastes, giving a full
flavour and a truly unique creamy layer. In addition, the coffee dose in the
extraction chamber is fully manipulated, thanks to the pressure, which remains
constant throughout the extraction cycle. Through this process, all of the aroma
is concentrated in the cup, offering you a superb crema finish and a truly rich
flavour.
Instant Steam Express
Insta Steam is a new Saeco technology introduced with the new Primea line. It
allows the machine to produce steam immediately for cappuccinos and lattes,
thanks to the double boiler: one for coffee, the other for steam.
Color Touch Screen
The color touch screen is the new exclusive technology used in our coffee
machines. This new hi-tech interactive screen is the product of Saeco's
continuous research in innovation. Thanks to its graphic display and icons, you
can prepare your favorite coffee beverages with little effort and in just a few
minutes. It comes with Sensitive Touch technology, which not only gives the
machine its up-to-date look, but also makes it easier to use, thanks to its
special icons giving clear, instant details of each function.
Ceramic Grinder
For perfect-tasting coffee every time. The ceramic grinder is Saeco's most
recent innovation, available in all new models of the Saeco range of automatic
coffee machines. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to
put an end to grinding with metal components. Ceramic is inert, and thus ensures
the best results without altering the flavour of the coffee. Moreover, it is
perfectly safe to use. The new ceramic grinder also provides a more consistent
grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more control over
the density and body of your coffee. And that's not all - the amount of coffee
residue left in the cup is substantially reduced. Long-lasting, minimum noise!
Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly grind to the
same consistency and high standards for a longer period of time.
Sensitive Touch Technology
Thanks to Sensitive Touch technology, with a simple touch you can
electronically regulate the ideal height of the drip tray for every type of cup
or glass.
Touch2Cappuccino
Touch2Cappuccino® is a patented revolutionary Saeco technology, which allows
you to prepare 2 cappuccinos or 2 latte macchiatos simultaneously. The
Touch2Cappuccino® system consists of a milk container placed directly inside the
machine. The milk is drawn from this container, frothed internally, and then
dispensed into the cup.
Illuminated Brewing Area
The brewing area can be illuminated by selecting this feature on the touch
screen of select Primea models.
Nanotechnology
Nanotechnology substantially facilitates the cleaning process. The proven
properties of nanotechnology guarantee that all components in contact with milk
are perfectly clean.
