The Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is high grown and situated in ideal conditions... What makes this coffee so rare and expensive? Japan imports 90% of the total Jamaican annual crop leaving the rest of the world to scramble after what is left. Because of hurricanes and the age of trees (as many as a third are out of production at any given time), only a small amount of the crop yield is left.

Regardless, the connoisseur must try Blue Mountain coffee roasted fleshly in order to enjoy its strength, intensity and persistence. Its medium acidity compliments the well-balanced body and the drinker is rewarded with a variety of fruit flavors. Expect a similar experience to a cup of very fine Kona, but with a more pronounced creamy floralness. Vacuum packed, 1 lb. bag.
